I have a sql view. I need a job (or trigger?) to run this query at 8:00pm every week day and save the output to a specific folder. It should also count the number of records in the output. The saved file should be named "xxx" - "date" (mm-dd-yy) - "x" records

What we can do is to make and SQL server scheduled job that will execute a view every day at specified time or the second option could be to make a small exe that fetches the stuff from sql view and we can run this exe from windows scheduler and can set the scheduled routine.

Hi, can you give me some more information for me to ensure I have bid accurately? Is this a MySQL job or are you running some other type of SQL server? Is this Windows or Linux? I have bid based on MySQL and linux. I would do the script in php and add it to a cron job. Please let me know if this would work for you. Thank you Respectfully Risharde
