We are seeking an experienced CAD designer to collaborate with us in designing an innovative ergonomic office chair with a in-built rotating tray for keyboard, mouse, touchpad, phone and tablet placement. The chair is specifically tailored for individuals who work multiple IT jobs simultaneously for multiple clients. As a CAD designer, you will play a vital role in translating our concept into detailed and visually appealing designs. Responsibilities: Work closely with our team to understand the ergonomic requirements and design specifications for the office chair with a rotating tray. Create accurate and detailed 3D CAD models of the chair, incorporating all the necessary components and features. Collaborate with us in refining the design based on feedback and incorporating any necessary modifications. Ensure that the final design meets ergonomic standards, functionality requirements, and manufacturing feasibility. Provide technical drawings and documentation required for prototyping and manufacturing. Requirements: Proven experience as a CAD designer, preferably in furniture or product design. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and 3D modeling techniques. Strong understanding of ergonomics and experience in designing ergonomic products is highly desirable. Attention to detail and ability to create accurate, dimensioned drawings. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our team. Portfolio showcasing previous CAD design work, particularly in the furniture or product design field.
