We need a developer with experience on the java-based LifeRay platform. We are searching for someone to maintain a longer relationship with several projects with. The person needs to be:
- Experienced Java-programmer (5+ years)
- Experienced in SQL
- Documented experience in the LifeRay platform
- Experienced in setting up and maintaining a LifeRay server installation
We will have several projects in the future, but to begin with we want someone to:
1. Set up a new instance of a liferay server based on an already existing code base. This means installing server components, compiling source code and importing a database dump as well as troubleshooting things along the way as well as dealing with new domains and setting up a SSL certificate.
2. Do minor further development of the LifeRay components related to branding, meaning changing logo and color.
3. Add an API function to an already existing API that is to be used with external services. The API is built on liferay java components and just need one more method to extract documents from a database.
