I have experience with Cryptocurrency algorithms on various platforms including Tradewave and CryptoTrader. You haven't given a detailed description about the project yet and so my bid is tentative. It will change once I know what exactly to implement. But yeah dealing with data feed and maintaining order book information and implementing algos for executing trades sounds fun.
