Computing and programming with MATLAB

You must create a program for calculating the surface are and approximate perimeter of an irregular object using a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The program should real in an image file and display it. The user should be requested to graphically enter two reference points (using mobile clicks) and a reference distance (using the keyboard) ). Then the user should be able to click on the vertices of the irregular object, clicking the key points all around the object until they return to the starting point. At this time the program should calculate the area and perimeter of the object using the reference distance to convert pixels into meter. A simple test image is supplied.
