Website control panel need embedded video added, not working?

Hello, I have a website, I only have access to the admin panel. In the admin panel I go to "edit home page", in the home page editor it is a basic editor. I'm trying to add a simple embedded video. Simple right? I add the embedded code from YouTube, then I save the editor, exit out, load the webpage and nothing shows up. I go back into the editor and the embedded text I entered is gone, literally gone. Any ideas???

Hello, I asume you are using an CMS such as Wordpress/Joomla or another one. I would need more information to solve your issue. I have experiences with web apps, software testing, debugging. I hope I can help you with your video problem. Martin

What is happening to you is that the CMS prevent users from injecting external code for security reasons, but there is a solution for that, which I can teach you.
