Training Tracker

I need a tracking system for my training program. What it needs to be able to do: List all employees (last, first), job title, department, hire date List all the courses by type (safety, etc...) tracking for when training is not incomplete, is nearing due date and overdue (with email notification reminders until it is complete) It must be able to group training by department with optional add on courses (for stragglers) I've looked at several online TMS/LMS and find them either too complicated to use or come with products I won't use. I have my own training material and don't want to pay for theirs. All I need is a way to track the training I give. I'm using a spreadsheet which is very time consuming and tedious.
