There are some things that I would like to know: 1) On which system the software being developed should run, both the program that reads from the inverters and the one that shows the statistics (the web app). I could help writing programs on Linux or Windows and to a lesser extent on Android, but not on Apple (both iOS and MAC). 2) How the inverters are connected to the computer where the software runs (Through USB, NET ... ) 3) Given that xls is a proprietary format not so easy to generate, would be OK for you if the History Data would be exported in .CSV format? This format can also be read from Excel. 4) Do you need a Web site to be developed/upgraded and in such case on which server/architecture does it run? Thank you for your attention. Ciro

Worked on a similar program for the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Have over seven years experience in PHP and C++. Not sure what exactly you mean by #3 but assume is would become clearer after seeing the project in action. User Security can be tricky to implement correctly. I can do basic user security but if you need harden security I would recommend integration with an security library (like websites that authenticate using your Facebook account). Exporting to XLS may involve additional expense to buy library to facilitate that.. I think there is something called PHPEXCEL or something like that could assist us.... there are probably some open source solutions too but it may be an older Excel Format ... also less features

Hello! Could you please clarify timer behavior with more details? Should the app read invertor state every 15 min for 12 hours ( from 6 am till 6 pm, so 48 times total ) ? Or should the app read invertor state once a day and the reading process requires 15min for every invertor so we have to have a specific reading time interval for every invertor?
