We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced front-end developer to bring to life two interactive sections for an information page on our WordPress website. The successful candidate will work in tandem with another developer responsible for the broader site development, ensuring seamless integration and implementation. Key Responsibilities: Develop Two Specific Interactive Web Sections: Interactive Video Section: Inspired by the Apple Watch page on Apple's website (see example: [login to view URL] ), create a section where the video playback is controlled by the user's scrolling. The video will feature a 3D render of a carpet, showcasing different features and materials. Hover-Activated Animation: Based on the example from Moooi's 'A Life Extraordinary' (see: [login to view URL] ), develop an interactive section where hovering causes elements (flowers in our case) to move or animate. Collaboration: Work closely with our designer and the other developer to integrate these sections into the overall page design and functionality. The design is detailed in a Figma file, (page called information pag: [login to view URL]). Performance and Smoothness: A key aspect of this project is not just the visual appeal but also the performance. The interactive sections must be buttery smooth, with no lag or janky animations. We place a high priority on the fluidity of the scrolling and hover animations. Optimized for Speed: Alongside smooth interaction, the loading speed of the web page is critical. The developed features should be optimized for quick loading without compromising the interactive experience. Efficient coding, image optimization, and thoughtful resource management are essential to achieve a balance between interactivity and speed. Responsive and Cross-Browser Compatibility: The interactive elements must be fully responsive, providing a consistent and seamless experience across various devices and screen sizes. Additionally, they should be compatible across different browsers, ensuring broad accessibility and functionality.
