What we need is a program that will: 1) Download a copy of a website, starting at a page that we specify. 2) Appear to the website that we are visiting, as if we were using a regular version of an internet explorer browser 3) Function like a much more basic version of "Web Stripper" <[login to view URL]> ***Webstripper does not work for us becuase it does not allow us to stay logged into an account... webstripper does not use cookies - so it doesn't work.. 4) The one addition to that program that we need is the ability to control how quickly it will download the pages. The problem that we are having is that the "WebStripper" program works so well, and is so fast, that the site we are trying to download from will not allow it. We are trying to download many resumes from [login to view URL] and they apparently have set a limit to the number of pages that can be viewed per second or per minute. 5) The program must function like a browser, use cookies, and let us stay logged in to our account on monster. 6) We want this to essentially be a modified browser. We can visit any URL in the normal way, log into an online account using the browser, and then press a button that will start the download process. If you can design a simple program that will let us: 1) visit a web page at any url 2) When we click "go" it will download any and all pages that are links on the page... only visiting 1 page deep from the page that we are on. 3) We need to be able to enter a number, telling the program how quickly/slowly to pull page views. For instance, if we enter "5" it will wait 5 seconds between each link that it visits. 4) It must visit each page and successfully copy it to the harddrive....If it does not get the page on it's initial try, it needs to re-try until it is succesfull. 5) The program should ask us where, on the harddrive, we want to save the resulting files. I hope I am describing this well enough. I have seen other bid requests for similar programs, so some of you may already have this project completed, and may need to just modify yours to add the "timer" for slowing the download process. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform must be able to run on all win98se and above PC machines.
