VBA MACRO FOR AUTOMATIC TASK PERFORMED IN WORD 97/2000/XP

OVERVIEW: I need two VBA macros, to be embedded in existing document template and excecuted from existing toolbar. At time of execution, user will have two files open, the first is the Word document based on the template with the embedded macros. This document is always Window 1. User will enter data in some fields of this document located on lines 2 through 10 of each section. The second file is that data file available in tab dileneated text. There are six different data files, but the user will only have one open at a time. The data file opened is based on the work type. The data is always Window 2. The first macro should: a. Activate the data file. b. Purge any duplicate data in that file and save the text document. The second macro should: Using data entered by the user into the current section of the open document, search the data file for entrie(s) which match the data entered by the user. If only one data record matches exactly, that data will be copied from the data file to line one of the current section in the original document. Else, if more than one data record matches, then the user should be provided with a popup window that displays all matching sets of data and offers the option to the user to choose one set of data or reject all data. If user accepts any set of data, it should be copied to line one of the current section in the original document. If all data is rejected by user, then data entered by user on lines 2 through 10 of original document should be copied to line one of original document in same format as if it was copied and pasted from data file. Next, lines two through ten in current section of original document should then be deleted. Small sample data and document are attached. Larger data files and actual document template will be provided to selected coder. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) Code must include small comments preceeding any major process describing functions to be performed by code that follows. ## Platform Code must function with Word 97, 2000, and XP operated on Win 98, ME, and XP platforms. If all three versions Word or Window are not available to coder, I have aeach nd I can assist with testing.
