The objectives are: 1) To design a database to record the failure and maintenance information of a power system. 2) To create a toolbox for drawing all power system components such as transmission line, generator, transformer and busbar. 3) To draw a single-line schematic diagram of a power system and input information from the diagram to the database. 4) To simulate the real time reliability of system and improve the maintenance schedule based on the reliability. 5) To show supply point reliability and maintenance information on the diagram and produce daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedule automatically 6) To simulate power system operation for both normal and failure contingency conditions. 7) To show the load flow, bus voltage and reliability indices on the diagram.
