Generating Employee Scheduling on web application using OptaPlanner Open source.

Employee & volunteer scheduler is a standalone web application which helps to schedule employees and volunteers for large events. The application is capable of being re-run to compensate for absentees, sick days and call-ins. It uses OptaPlanner engine developed by Red Hat to solve NP-complete scheduling problem. The details of employees like employee title, role, their work criteria etc. will be stored in MySQL database and this web application will be able to run all employees criteria through OptaPlanner to generate best possible NP-Complete solution using hard and soft constraints tagged with each employee. After the best possible solution has been generated the administrator should be able to send an email to the individual employee notifying them of their schedule. We are going to use JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery2 for client-side scripting and PHP for server side scripting. Project needs to use other tools like Twitter-Bootstrap & JBOSS. The Bootstrap is an intuitive & powerful front-end framework for faster and easier web development and JBOSS is a middle-ware developed by Red Hat. JBOSS helps applications to build, test & deploy application faster.
