PHP Script Performance Optimization

The starting point is [this script][1] and [this script (same with different arguments)][2] this script is terribly slow and also produces unwanted error messages. I would like you to .. ... improve the speed ... get rid of the error messages ... make it failsafe ... display each result as it comes in and not only after all results are there The script works like this: it gets the patent family and finds out, wether there is an image for the family member at <[login to view URL]>= and wether there is an abstract for the patent in question. Then it displays the result. Good knowledge of PHP and SOAP/Webservices are a must. Documentation of the OpenPatentServices API at <[login to view URL]> ? ? ## Deliverables The goal is to make the script run at least twice as fast and also to avoid error messages.
