478475 Fix Magento Performance

1. Image Sprites. Do a image sprite CSS for my site. So that it takes lesser time to load. 2. Drop Down Menu IE Fix. Drop Down appears and flickers when moved quickly. Worse part, it appears behind products in catalog pages. This issue is only with Internet Explorer 3. 2 GET requests are being sent for the same page. Use Firbug add-on to see it. There are 2 Get page requests being sent for the same page. Which is hogging the speed. 4. [login to view URL] Refer to the link above and do the GZIP compression correctly. 5. 1 js components with empty link were found. Used Yslow and i see that an empty link is found in JS file. It has to be removed. 6. Minify JavaScript and CSS Let me know, which of the fixes you can do and can't do. Thank You.
