Hi, I have a java application that I developed and deployed to a linux server.
I am trying to run the application via the linux cron but I cannot get the cron job to recognize the location on my property file. When the job starts, I receive an error that the file cannot be found.
I am using the java -cp with that I think is the correct folder paths.
Looking for someone to resolve this issue.
Directory structure is:
/usr/share/appname/application (Contains my java project jar)
/usr/share/appname/application/lib (Contains the supporting jars)
/usr/share/appname/config (contains log4j property file and a [login to view URL] which contains some settings needed for the app)
I need to be able to execute the program from any directory on the server by using the appropriate java -cp structure and through the cron job.
