Back up entire server and database from OVH (so it can be recovered if needed)

Hello there My friend, I use in my windows server's client computers, a really usefull tool to back it all up, data, disk, partitions, ntfs permission. Is better than anything else around. I can provide you the tool (freew. version) and do and set it all up so it can backup everything or some things whenever you want. Let me know, Sebastian

Hi, server manager with expertise in windows and linux, i can provide you with acronis solution, acronis is famous by its technology that would restore your server in case of hardware failure to an identical state (based in snapshots), you will need a separate service to store the backup, ovh seems to have one, it would be best since is in the same network hence the backup should be quicker than any other service outside the ovh network. Hi, My name is Rob from Norwich UK. I currently operate 86 Windows servers and can do this task for you no problem... I will require remote desktop access to the servers and i can do 1 of 2 things... 1, Backup the whole server and provide you with an image that can be restored on another server... Note: A very similar spec restore machine will be required in order for the image to boot as hardware registered in the Windows registry will not match and you may get a blue screen on boot although the date will be there. Or 2, Create a VHD image so you can boot it as a Virtual machine using Hyper-V on another Windows server or just install it as a virtual harddrive. The only problem with this option is it cannot be automated to backup once a day you would need to run this manually daily unlike option 1. I would be happy to discuss further if required. I propose we setup a script to automatically backup the server nightly and then transfer the backup offsite to a place of your choosing. We could back up the server to a cloud backup service such as Amazon or Bitcasa nightly. I understand I do not have any reviews as a freelancer, I mostly only hired in the past.
