CSS XHTML Table Layouts

I need two CSS XHTML compliant table layouts for a website that I publish. One layout is for the home page, a resizable (or fixed width, I have not decided completely) three column where the height of the longest column sets the height of all three columns. The column widths are effectively 60%, 20%, and 20%. I have a 2 column CSS compliant page but need to add a third column and the CSS box model is a bitch. In addition, I need help creating a second layout for use when people print a page, a layout (styles) that effectively hides the two narrow columns and uses/expands the one column for text. This should be an easy 1-2 hours of work for someone highly skilled in CSS/XHTML. What I need is the code which I can then incorporate into my stylesheets and MoveableType templates. To clear up any confusion, I do not need a design, only a set of div containers that display a header row, a content row (with 60% column, 20% column, 20% column), and a footer row. The footer row needs to display under the tallest column. If I change the column widths from percentages to pixels, it needs to still display properly. My research and coding experience shows that this is not easy with CSS, certainly not as easy as HTML tables. I've got 2-column CSS working fine now but want to add a third column. I'll take your code and swap out mine in my templates. The code result will be tested by me through [login to view URL] to ensure it works reasonablly well across platforms. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Platform-independent. I need something that works in all standards compliant browsers, from N4 (well, hopefully) to IE6 and Mozilla (Firebird, Firefox), Windows, Mac, Linux.
