I am a recording artist and was signed to an indie label. I do not know how many mp3 were sold however i did a lot of promotions. I have been releasing less popular songs on my own and have made a little money that beats the threshold of amounts to with draw. So that means my most popular song would have had to generated more money. I have never received a royalty payment from Bentley records . Before you ask yes I have bmi and own my own copyrights and masters. However i did receive an email while signed that they send out royalty payments which i never received
