Custom Baby Crib Shop Drawing and 3D Model

This project requires a precise and detailed shop drawing for a custom design baby crib. The drawing needs to provide exhaustive measurements, ensuring every detail is taken into account for an accurate representation of the product. The drawings will be intended to be used as a clear and simple reference for carpenters to make the furniture. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in producing Furniture Shop Drawings - Attention to detail regarding measurement accuracy - Proficient using CAD software or similar tools - 3D Model Generating Design/Style: Create drawing of a customized crib design inspired by several cribs designs combined into one, showcasing elegance and simplicity of the desired final design while maintaining the function and safety of the baby crib. The completed drawing should illustrate a stylish yet practical modern baby crib, capable of being produced accurately by carpenters based on the drawings. General requirements: - All source files required - All fastener details to be included and added to the drawings - Correction and addition of necessary measurements and build details is required to ensure a sturdy and correctly functioning design - Continuous communication and revisions are needed before finalizing - Any changes of the given information and additions must be communicated and indicated Only candidates who have demonstrated previous similar work will be considered. BED DESIGN I - Inspos: The desired design is combined from multiple models: - Pic 1: rounded bed edges with closed extremities. Crib is elevated on legs. - Pic 2: multilevel mattress feature adjustable in crib shape. Rounded gate poles with filleted curved top bed frame edges. - Pic 3-1: removable front and back gates. - Pic 3-2: extendable body feature to become a child size bed. Extension to be from both sides with the same mechanism. II - General dimensions: Crib size: L 130 x W 80 x H 100 cm Extended Child Bed size: L 190 x W 80 x H 100 cm (Pic 6 and 7) III - Material: The entire bed: Solid wood (Pinewood or Oak) The closed circular edges parts: premium pressed wood IV - Color: Raw wood color (pic 2) Closed circular edges part: if not possible to match the same raw wood color, to be white same as Pic 1. V - Bed Legs: Height 15 cm, topped of by 25 cm bed body (Pic 6). Bed legs to be fixed on the movable and extendable parts, with extended space reaching 30 cm from each side (Pic 7). VI - Edges: Edges of the top of the bed to be completely filleted, preferred rounded (Pic 6) VII - Bed Circular Sides: To be closed and connected as a one part piece, with carving just like Pic 1. The circular sides should not be half-circular. It should be an arc of a 50 cm radius circle, with Length 20 cm and width 80 cm, connected and continued with a 5 cm straight line (Pic 7 and 9). VIII - Bed Gates: Gates to be easily removed and re-attached in a secure and easy method to be suggested. Gates size each: L 80 x H 60 x W 7 cm (Pic 10). Each gate have 8 circular poles of 2.5 cm diameter, 6 cm distant apart. When bed is extended to full child size, gates can be attached next to each other on one of the bed sided to close it fully (Pic 11). Suggest a secure and easy fixing method. IX - Mattress Base & Support: In the crib shape (not extended), the mattress can be adjusted on 3 levels (Pic 2 and 8) Level 1 30 cm (bed base) Level 2 60 cm Level 3 70 cm Suggest a method for supporting the mattress at crib shape and adjust it securely for the higher levels. In full extended child bed, mattress to stay on the base level 30 cm with the following suggested support methods: - Pic 4: integrated large panels - Pic 5: integrated small panels Suggest and add a support to hold the panels and the mattress weight in the middle. X - Bed Extension Mechanism: Bed extension method to be similar to Pic 3-2 and the extended part should have an interior stop to prevent the disassembly of the bed frame. Suggested method is illustrated in Pic 9 and Pic 12. The elongated part of the bed frame is preferable to appear with the same thickness of the original body 7 cm. Extension cover pieces idea is suggested to be inserted on the extended parts (Pic 9). XI - Bed Frame: All bed frame with the gates to follow the same thickness of 7 cm width, except the circular closed bed sides, to be thinner in a suggested width to look as Pic 1.
