Hello, I could help you in case you're thinking to host a VM or buy a phisical pfsense firewall. Pfsence fw are good devices very reliable. I use a virtual one for a long time and I'm very pleased with it. These devices are very versatile, can be configured in many ways; is a router with fw but you can also implement VPN server (openVPN, wireguard, etc) a IPS/IDS, portal login with radius server and many more options...
