My current project utilises NextJS and requires an experienced developer for troubleshooting the existing project fetching endpoint. The current situation leaves room for improvement as the project fetches a list of data, however, I need to fetch single items based on their unique slug_id. - The project is fetching data from Prismic. YES - The project is fetching a list of items from an external API provider. <urlEndpoint>/list. YES - The project is fetching single items <urlEndpoint>/uuid. NO. - The project should display slug_id parameter in the URL browser. NO - The external API is really well documented. YES - The project need UI/Design. NO (perhaps [login to view URL] could be enough) Error: What I'm looking is to fetch single items. I'm getting the error "getServerSideProps is not supported in /app) The existing process has missed the mark, prompting the need to implement a solution for fetching the UUID but showing the URL (slug_id) in the browser. Your key challenge will be to create a seamless process that efficiently and accurately retrieves single data items without affecting the overall project speed or user experience. The final result should be a fetching endpoint that offers consistency, accuracy, and reliability. Skills and Experience needed for the job: - Expertise in NextJS, especially fetching endpoints - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills - Proven experience in fixing and improving data fetching mechanisms. The API documentation and access to repository will be provided upon request and only if you read the description and start your proposal with the word Chaco.
