I'm looking for a talented Minecraft plugin developer to create a plugin for my server that introduces custom items with unique abilities, with a focus on enhancing gameplay. The primary ability I want to add through these custom items is a simple speed increase for players. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in Java and familiarity with the Minecraft codebase. - Experience in developing Minecraft plugins, preferably with a portfolio showcasing similar projects. - Knowledge of Minecraft server operation and performance optimization. Requirements: - Develop a plugin compatible with the latest version of Minecraft. - Create custom items that grant players speed boost, strength boost(something like sharpness 7 or 8,higher fire resistance+higher fire aspect , gives slowness to a player when hit but only works every 10 second and upon use , then the ultra sword that is all of this but combines WITH CUSTOM TEXTURES SO THEY ALL LOOK DIFFERENT - Ensure that the customisations is balanced and does not disrupt gameplay. - Incorporate an easy-to-use interface for configuring the duration and intensity of the customisations. - Implement measures to prevent the abuse of these items in competitive play. - Test the plugin for compatibility issues and performance impacts on the server. This plugin aims to add a fun and engaging mechanic to the server without compromising the balance and enjoyability of the game. The right candidate for this job will share a passion for Minecraft and possess a strong track record of developing plugins that enhance the gaming experience.
