Need help converting our nodejs based api to use sockets - open to bidding

Our current asp.net page connects to the nodejs server and makes an api request with a report id, from date and to date. Reportid becomes the folder name and then the nodejs server finds the files that contain the report data (file format is yyyymmddHH) and sends them all at one go. We want to convert this to use web sockets: 1. Use web sockets to download data from the reports service. a. When the first request is made to the reports service, (ExecutedController and Executed/[login to view URL]), the reports service should start streaming back results as it reads the files info. b. The reports service should keep the connection open and as it detects updates to the files, it should read and return the contents to the reports page. In effect this should be a real-time report.
