My name is Fely, and I work for an educational consulting start-up, InGenius Prep. We started out of New Haven, CT (founders were Yale Law students), but we all work remotely, as our employees are all over the place. Since inception 1.5 years ago, we have expanded to over 175 employees and 5 countries.
We need a tech person. We have 2 full-time developers abroad, but we need someone highly skilled to manage them and build out our online infrastructure. This includes management of our U.S., Chinese, and Korean websites (and the other developers). You can see our soon-to-launch website at devnewsite.ingeniusprep.com.
Also would include design and creation of platforms for our new products, and general automation and integration of our various marketing, accounting, and customer/project management platforms.
We are an intense group, and looking for someone young, ambitious, and who wants business or entrepreneurial experience. This will start as a part-time job, with generous pay depending on your skill-set and value added (i.e., negotiable), and will hopefully result in a full-time position thereafter.
I have provided a list of skills below. Honestly, the most important thing is that the person is incredibly hardworking and driven.
Skills required: Html, CSS, Php, Javascript, Java, Jquery, Ajax, mysql, database management, integrations using API's and Webhooks, Ruby on Rails, other skills necessary to do the tasks described above.
