Short Play script needs re-writing / improvement

Hi James Your project sounds really interesting and I think I have a unique set of skills that qualify me to successfully help you to improve your script. I've been working in theatre since 1997, mainly as an actor but I've also directed, stage managed and produced works in Sydney. This depth of experience means that I'm intimately aware of what is required for a stage production and how to make an emotional and psychological impact with a theatre audience. I also hold a B.A in Communications majoring in Writing and Cultural studies from the University of Technology, Sydney. During this degree I took several script writing classes and undertook a playwriting project for a writing workshop subject that entailed spending an entire semester developing and writing one major piece of work. I'm currently developing a full-length play of my own and have several short plays in developments too. I'm passionate about playwriting and I think an outside eye and external ideas are invaluable to script development. I don't have much screenwriting experience. I have only written one project for a class, but out of four other proposed projects, it was the one we chose to develop and film. I have experience with the way that plays are staged, as I have done several school productions. In my youth, I was involved in a summer renaissance program for 2 years in a row as a student. We produced shortened Shakespearian plays on stage in front of an audience of about 500 people. I also volunteered with that program as I got older, helping with the actual staging of the plays. I have read many plays in their original format, and I am familiar with how scenes and transitions work. I have taken creative writing courses as part of my English major at UTEP, and one of our projects was to write a project resembling a script. I wrote a carefully staged scene about dialogue between two allegorical figures. My teacher chose this script to be the example to which he compared all of the other works in our class since mine exemplified the qualities he was trying to demonstrate.
