Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I have nearly 5 years of work experience as a Full-Desk Recruiter. This process has a long life cycle and involves all the skills you require. To provide you with some context, this role involved sourcing new contracts by means of mining my professional network, replying to staff augmentation RFPs and researching hiring trends for various businesses so to extract their business needs. After successfully winning those contracts, I would fulfill my clients' hiring needs on my own (by means of sourcing, screening and selecting candidates). As you can probably tell, this role required me to master my negotiation skills as I had to find the most profitable contracts for my company as well as identify the best resources that met my clients' needs within budget. I am a result-oriented and money-motivated individual so sales roles have always been intriguing to me.
