Hi, I need a solution based Microcontroller that I want to transfer Audio over IP using a low cost microcontroller but it needs to be low latency! One master unit must be act as server/master. Other units must be client/slaves. I know there are Cobranet, Ethersound, Dante, Livewire and AVB2 is high-end and standardized solutions for this purpose on the market. But i need a basic & low cost solution for this puspose (not to discover Continental America again!) Requirements: -I2S over Ethernet using CAT5 or RS485 is considerable. -One server/client must be sent and receive audio bidirectionally (full duplex) with low latency. -Multiple receivers must use same cable (bandwidth) -Simultaneously one client could receive an audio stream, at the same time another slave/client could receive or send another audio stream to/from server/master. -Cost per slave unit below $30 is suitable! -Full finished project solution with firmware codes & PCB design files need! Cost of the solution is important! STM32 (ARM based) solutions wellcome!

I can start working on this interesting project. This will be STM32 based solution which will use Internet Protocol (TCP over IP) and will work as client server. Every device connected to the internet will need to have an IP (public IP in case if it is connected on internet or private IP in case all the devices are in LAN pool). It wont have massive features but will have few buttons and a small display to store and connect different remote device. Voice quality will be 8KHz bandwidth limited (better than telephone sound but poorer than FM quality) and sampling of about 10 bits or 12 bits. This will be fair enough for the voice communication. Latency as per the network travel time and hopefully the processor will run at 72MHz. Lets discuss more in case the budget is fine with you. what is the latency tolerance for the system ? how the system generate audio to be send ? is it from computer or mic or it's a saved file? what is the distance between between master and slave ? as that will affect latency the last thing is i don't think you can use multicast full duplex communication on the same cable without collision
