I have long experience with 8-bit and 32-bit micro-controllers. I work with PIC , AVR , ST and NXP micro-controllers. I use KEIL IDE , Atmel Studio and MPLABX IDE . I deliver neat , tested and well-commented code that can be reused or modified for future development. Regarding your project , I have worked lots with LCDs and touch interfaces .
