Android Parental Control App

First and foremost, I would like to note that I am in the planning phases of this project. I need to build a parental control app that will provide parents with ultimate control of their child's electronic device. In today's world, kids are getting smarter and as adults, we need to stay one step ahead of the game. The parental control apps that are available today claim to be the best solution but when tested they fail to perform or simply lack needed features. I look to change that. This app will be based on a membership model and would require updates to fix bugs, add features, and more. An ongoing working relationship would be ideal. The app must do exactly what I need it to do and if it doesn't, then this app would be just like the others. I want parents to be able to view activities recorded and change settings from online or on their mobile app. Changes made need to be effective when applied not 10 minutes later. This app needs to be easy to install with minimal effort by the parent. Essential functions are needed to prevent an uninstallation - intentional or not. Basic features like blocking inappropriate websites and setting time limits are a must. In all, there will be more than 15 robust functions and features. It needs to be able to monitor popular messaging and texting apps, not just by taking a screenshot every 5 minutes. Some items need to be blocked when accessed and some will need to prevent access all together, say like behind a lock code prompt. Pressing cancel would close the object being accessed and a notification sent to the parent of the monitored phone. This is going to be the mother of all parental control apps. The app must be user friendly and should be able to run on any modern android device. Child proofing will be a major factor and the biggest challenge. Some additional features that would need to be implemented include: 1. Lock Screen – Parents should be able to lock a device with the push of a button. 2. Internal Messaging – Parents should be able to send a message through the app to any device or all devices at once. 3. Geofencing Location and Alerting – This feature will allow parents to set a location radius. If the device leaves (or enters) an area or location a notification will be sent to the parents’ phone. 4. Loss of Signal Alerting – If internet or phone signal is lost for 3 minutes, an alert and last known location will be sent to the parents’ phone. 5. Screen Time – Set allowances for individual devices or individual apps. 6. Block Phone Settings – Any time the phone settings folder is accessed, or any item that is contained within the settings that can be accessed by using the Android search feature, should be prompted for a parental PIN or password. Entering the wrong PIN will cancel the request and notify the parents' phone. 7. Active Monitoring – The app must be able to monitor text and emails being viewed for harmful material. A notification should be sent to the parents’ phone. Additionally, the app should be capable of taking a screenshot of monitored phones and be accessible on the parents' account. A notification to parents for any material that meets criteria should be sent. 8. Emergency Alert - Children should be able to press an Emergency Alert button on their app and it will send an emergency alert to their parents' phone. The alert needs to be loud and should be able to work even if the phone is on silent. The alert will send the location of the child's phone being monitored along with the alert. These are just some of the features I am looking for but should give you an idea of what I am looking for. One last thing, this app will not be submitted to the play store.
