We have several HTML screens we'd like to turn into a Flex interface. The project does NOT entail any Web Service coding, just the navigational screens that represent the UI. We are looking to make the interface "customizable" for the client, that means they should be able to change the interface using CSS which can be supplied with the flex project.
Another requirement is that the project should be designed with the understanding that its going to be "plugged in" to an existing Web site or even a shopping cart system. This means that the presentation should be constrained to a certain size with the notion that it will be embedded in the design of the site, or through an iFrame.
Even though the project does not call for coding the Web Service, you should populate the screens with "proxy" data from a static XML file or some other means.
There are four main screens:
1. An Admin panel (which is NOT displayed to the user but accessible by the admin), which would merely allow for the display of fields in the order status screens and how customers would login to gain order status.
2. The login panel
This would show the fields needed for the customer to login. Some valid fields are:
- last name
- zip code
- order number
There will always be a combination of the two above depending on what the admin chooses
to use as login criteria.
3. The orders panel
This panel lists the orders from the customers account, the orders listing would be displayed
to the user so they can select an order to drill into.
4. The order details panel
This panel displays the order details and line items for the order.
It will also have a link to a shipping carrier (the tracking number)
There are screen shots that I have of the interface, if you're interested in the project please bid
and I can send them to you directly.
Finally, your deliverable should be both a working Flex application and a Flex Builder project file.
