In my word doc, i'd like to add the following rules for headers and footers which i cannot get to work: Header: For odd/even pages show Heading 1 title and Heading 2 title respectively. Header: For every FIRST page of a chapter (Heading 1) do not show heading For 3 horizontal pages, create fitting header/footer on the left/right of the page for overall consistency. As i had bad experiences before i'd like to clarify the following: I want this to be done with proper Word tools (insert Fields for e.g. Heading 2 in each odd heading). I am tired of people trying to find a solution using google and "hardcode" every single page. Please indicate that you understood the above in your application text, otherwise -> ignore. Thanks :-)

I can use settings in microsoft Word to solve this problem. You are going to 1. add different headers for odd/even pages. 2. Set different headers or footers for some special pages such as chapter or horizontal pages This can be done quickly and easily within the Word.
