Shop-in-shop retail website - only bid if you fulfill requirements

Introduction We require a website to be built based on a retail shop-in-shop concept (main website with many subshops). Initially this entails building the website, initial deadline is 2 to 3 months, to be determined with owners. If we are happy, longer term development and maintenance are a very real toption. This is a new start-up looking to change the way business is done in certain retail sectors (more information will be disclosed on acceptance of your bid) Please read carefully through below requirements and please only respond if you fulfil them. Main website requirements (but not necessarily limited to) -(optional) Logo design -Design of website style, modern/clean look -Multiple language support (3 or 4 languages) -Shop-in-shop concepts. Retailers should be able to open a shop and add/remove/edit their own products. However, website administrators/owners, should always have editing capability of the sub-shop. -Review system that can be rolled out after several months of the website being live (not right away). Needs to be able to review shops and products. - Central payment processor, selection of processor to be determined together with the site owners taking into account versatility and costs (setup, monthly, transaction) - Both retailers and end-customers can be billed through this billing system. Retailer purchase (of new shop) should initiate automatic creation of new sub-shop - End-customer purchase of product should initiate sending of an order to owner of sub-shop. Percentage of this transaction should go to company, depending on agreement made with sub-shops - Search capability, both by categories and free text search, see details below - Nightly backups - Test environment - Full control over contents (CMS) & design when website has been completed. Website should be built in a way that anybody can take over website design/maintenance after it has been built. -Suggestions of sub-shops/items on main page, e.g. discounted items. -Full website should be mobile optimized. Website should look good in any mobile browser -Android / iOS app (optional, to be discussed) - SEO optimized -Website should stand out, look very professional Sub-shop requirements -Automated sub-shop creation after order has been placed. Invisible first until sub-shop is ready to be published -Sub-shop owner has control over style. -Sub-shop owner may add/edit/remove products at will. -Sub-shop contents: -Name -Photos of physical shop -Location -Products with descriptions and one or more photos -Contact details -Shipping and return information (may differ per sub-shop) -Suggestion based related items -Indexation of sub-shops/products -By category, type, item -By shop -By physical location of shop -Free text search -Shop/product ranking depending on: popularity (shop/product), review ranking, premium packs purchased by shop to stand out, location General requirements -Preferably a freelancer that works as part of a team, that covers all bases, strong coding, design & retail expertise (with knowledge of payment processors, shipping etc.) and doesn’t depend on only one person. -Strong experience in building webshops and automated order handling. -Used to working in cutting edge website design (we are not looking for a “standard” one in a dozen website) - SEO knowledge -Team player who finds the right balance between taking initiative and discussing options with the owners. -Open minded person/team, not afraid to make suggestions to improve the website based on his/her experience, somebody who thinks along during the development of the website. - Deadline 2 to 3 months, to be determined in coordination with owners. - Basic understanding of Spanish gives you an advantage - We require a clear budget of the website, and commitment to the deadline. - All information provided is confidential and may not be shared outside your team unless prior permission is given by one of the owners
