I have a glitch on a website and my programmer can't figure it out. The website (designed by a very good GAF freelancer) does not read well on certain versions of IE, most notably 6.0. Most other browsers (firefox, safari, later and earlier versions of IE) look fine. Would like for you to look at the code and suggest easiest fix. There are portions of the site that occupy a fixed space and won't "move". It is a fairly straight-forward site, which is to the client preference, but this is a troubling bug that is driving us crazy...because my client has IE 6.0, of course! Thanks, BBCARD1. Please respond with how easy or difficult you think the fix will be, but I think it is an easy fix for CSS developers. We can send source files.

Problem is:
The blue footer bar isn't working properly. It works on the Mac browsers
(Firefox and Safari), but it’s not working properly on either browser on a PC (Firefox and IE).
Footer should be anchored to the bottom of the browser window and be on the top most layer, above all the rest of the content. The content at the top should be below the footer layer, and the page should scroll far enough to get to it all if need be.

Footer should be anchored to the bottom of the browser window, OR, at the bottom of all the text on that page... Whichever is further down. If there's a lot of text on one page, you should be able to scroll down to see the rest of the text, then the footer. If there is a small amount of text, the footer should be touching the bottom of the browser window with white space above it.
We're ready to get this done. If it is easy as I think, you can be done and paid within a few hours.
