E commerce Website for Selling Fishing Rods

Platform: Client prefers Shopify so let me know if this can be done on Shopify. If we go with Shopify, I will create site's design foundation and you will add the product viewing features mentioned below in requirements. However, please also let me know what platform you suggest that will be the most economical / reasonable and easy to use for client long term. Brief: Client builds customized fishing rods that he wants to sell online. There will be a limited number of products only – about 8 different rods. He wants these customizations to be able to be viewed on the site itself before ordering. Requirements: Customer should be able to view the rod in 3D – rotating it 360˚, etc. There will be certain parts that the customer can choose the color for. For example, if the customer chooses a red handle, the handle should appear red on the product. If the customer chooses a blue hook, the hook should appear blue on the product. There will be about 6 colors to choose from and about 4-5 different customizable parts. This is approximate for now but just to give you an idea. Another thing the client wants is to be able to type in a name to put on the rod. Once the name is typed in, that name should also show on the product. The customer should be able to somehow save / download / email a nice resolution image of the customized rod they have created on the site. Questions from client: What will you need in order to make the rod 3D and visible from all angles? Will you need a photo or will you design a 3D rendering yourself? How will this work?
