Website Hacked

My website host is Media Temple. They sent me 2 emails about how my website was hacked and I should fix it. My current web designer says that I need someone with server administration expertise. It's a small job that needs doing right away and correctly. I will include the contents of the emails below. Please let me know your expertise and also your bid price for this job. Also, in the future we can talk about a new host. I do not understand why Media Temple is not taking care of this directly? Perhaps it is time to move to a new host. Media Temple is not the cheapest and my needs are very simple: web hosting and redirect email.
