I need an automation program that opens "FileLocator Lite" and automatically fills the “Look in:” and the “<=” edit fields with given strings. It then waits for a custom keyboard shortcut. Upon intercepting it, the program should perform the following operations on FileLocator:
File > Export Results
The “Export Results” dialog opens
In this dialog, the program should click the “Export” button
Assuming that a previous file already exist, the “Filelocator Lite” dialog opens, prompting the user to confirm that he or she wants to replace it.
In this dialog, the program should click the “Yes” button
Background:
“FileLocator Lite” is a free software from [login to view URL]
Conditions:
In order to minimize possible inferences with other running software, the program should use internal identificators of windows and controls and not geometric coordinates in the FileLocator user interface.
The target operating system is Windows 7. You may write the program in the language of your choice, providing I would be able to replicate what you did. We’ll have to communicate about that. Personally, I prefer Autohotkey. You would have to provide the source code and explain how you got the identificators.
Hi
I have read your project description.
I can do the task for you.
I will create the program using winautomation.
Please send details by pm.
