Hi! My name is Hedda Kalland, and I'm a native Norwegian translator and interpreter. I am very interested in this project, and I believe I am the perfect candidate. I'm a student currently transferring between a university in Japan and a university in the US, and so I have a lot of time on my hands for the next few months. I would be able to work 3-6 hours a day, and my translation speed highly depends on what kind of text I'm translating, but I am more than able to translate 3000 words a day.
I've studied English since I was 6 years old, I spent half a year in England when I was 17, I studied in an English program in Japan for two years, and now I'm living in the US. I would consider my English level to be native.
I have been doing a lot of freelance translating the past year, but since it's all through Freelancer.com I have no way of showing you the work I have done. Recently I've been doing a lot of English-Norwegian and Japanese-English translations.
Usually I would charge $0.05 per word, but I can be ok with a bit less than that since it's such a long project.
My email address is heddahk (gmail) should you have any questions. I would prefer you contacting me before you award me the project, should I be the chosen candidate.
I hope to hear from you soon!
