Greetings, The project is to translate/interpret religious Islamic sermons. The incumbent must be familiar with Islamic terms and concepts. In total, there are 185 lessons, 1 hour each. The deliverable is a written translation/interpretation of the lessons. The scope of the work is as follows: 1) Translate/interpret lessons accurately and completely (not transcription) with proper English grammar and punctuation. 2) Translate/interpret title of lesson accurately and completely (not transcription) with proper English grammar and punctuation. 3) Translate/interpret summary of the lesson accurately and completely (not transcription) with proper English grammar and punctuation. 4) Develop a system to identify the different narrators (e.g. Verse from Quran vs Speaker vs a quote of another author, etc.) 5) Include mode of speech in translation/interpretation (e.g. sarcasm, seriousness, etc.) Sample file attached for your review and assessment of the caliber of language and pace of speech. Please bid an accurate figure because it will not change once awarded. Bidders who demonstrate lack of understanding of this project or submit generic bids will not be considered.
