Animation Project

This project is to animate an existing 3-D model, or create a new one if that's easier. Use 3ds max or Maya. Here is a link to a sample of the existing model: [login to view URL] 1) Produce simple mockups of the following actions for the model: Sit, walk, run, lie down, lie on side, bark, shake paw. 2) Animate the above actions; make the dog look "alive" by animating the eyes, tail, tongue, ears, and moving the head. 3) Include transition animations between the actions listed above to allow for smooth animation. Target a polygon count of 1,000 - 1,200 (to work in the 3d animation environment). If the above goes well, there will be a second phase to script the animations in Flash/ActionScript, using Away3d ([login to view URL]), which allows for displaying of MD2 files and scripting them. The second phase will add more animations, dog types, and a simple environment (a room and a green field) for the dog to exist in. Sample code is readily available for away3d. Please describe your past experience with 3d animation and Flash -- and include a sample animation with your bid if possible. I would like to work with an experienced animator on this project. Ask any questions before bidding! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
