Software for Police Car Soft Controller-Relay Board

We at Beyer Fleet up-fits police cars. We take a bear police car and place all the lights and program systems in the vehicles to make everything work together. Our Company: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] We have an new opportunity to build a first in the police industry with a touch screen in police cars. The new police cars have a built in screen like in this image ([login to view URL]) We will be using a Sainsmart 8 relay module board to control the soft panel. Also there are many resources online how to program the Sainsmart relay here is one google for more: [login to view URL] Then we would be using the below soft buttons in the .exe to activate and deactivate the relay through the command set that you will be developing. All Systems Off (above Soft Control Module) (ALL lights on in the Above Image) We would like to have someone submit a proposal that has extensive experience in using relay control modules that we would like to have an .exe written in C++ or VB. no java. The control module will be on a touch screen and I have attached a picture for what will look like above when all off and then an image of all one. We would need to be able to turn individual items on and off on the soft control panel and the icon should change color just for that icon. When the icon is turned on or off a command would be sent to the Sainsmart 8 relay module board. Constraint is that they code must be written in a method that is supported by future programmers and would need to be validated by the state of New Jersey before released into a police vehicle. Must be programmed using best practices as found in this and other similar articles where the Code is: [login to view URL] 1) Well Commented throughout the code 2) Consistent and well organized and well laid out and thought thru (Don't Repeat Yourself) 3) Avoid Obvious Comments and useless coding logic that will miss lead and cause a longer troubleshooting times (less is more) 4) Consistent Naming Scheme throughout the code 5) Avoid Deep Nesting, Too many levels of nesting can make code harder to read and follow Please ask if you have any questions.
