email mx webserver and records fix

i have webmail boxes for my website [login to view URL] on [login to view URL] but i have the website hosted on [login to view URL] this was working until i tried to add a mailbox using wix that uses gmail. when i did this the other emails stopped working. i understood that this was because the mx web servers for [login to view URL] were changed to point to wix or gmail for all the emails. so i changed the mx web servers back to point to godaddy. but it is still not working. they say that it can take 48 hours for the change to be complete. is there a way to speed up the fix? or maybe it is another problem that needs to be fixed.
