GSM based remote monitoring of SUPPLY FUSE BLOWN

IN INDIA MUMBAI . Problem : Power Supply Utilities in metros face difficulties in finding 'Fuse Blown' in low voltage distribution network interrupts consumers supply. In such cases call centre receive many complains at once from affected consumers & that passed to field staff through. Staff locates the supply feed points & rectifies / restores supply with replacement of fuse. There is substantial delay in restoration of supply. It is still difficult to manage, monitor & very costly to convert all consumers meters communicable ON LINE. (In MUMBAI INDIA there are 5 million consumers). Solution: The feeder panels installed near by to consumers can be made communicable (30,000 nos.) with wiring just like permanent test lamp attached to each of the out going side of the ‘FUSE’. With small matrix of 2-3mm LED indicator lamps wired on PCB will indicate which FUSE blown with out opening of panel & using test lamps by field staff. Further if the PCB has GSM/ GPRS communication device it will send SMS to field staff / control centre … etc as soon as ANY of the FUSE blows in that panel. Requirement: GSM modem incorporated circuit with LED indicator lamps. Software to send SMS to DATA centre / desired numbers. Input : 10 /20/30/40 points voltage 210-260V AC (Phase – Neutral) Output: On demand type Push button LED display see through IP54 cased unit 250mm x 100mm max. size. GSM / GPRS unit (remote re-configurable to change desired SMS recipients) with back-up power 6 hrs with software for DATA centre.
