Tell me about how you started product design as a freelancer

Hi, I have an interesting project for freelancers in general. My name is Daniel, I have a website based on Entrepreneurship and living and doing business abroad. I'm looking for 20 - 50 freelancers to tell me about there own story re: how they started freelancing/ business, the opportunities that you've had to travel and work abroad and freedom that it's given you in your own life.
