Our business has transitioned to an online database system that houses people's information, addresses, and more. We also have an online learning system that people register at and do a course to become ceritfed. We are seeking the right person who can come on board and perform the work on our websites by continuing innovating and making the necessary changes to ensure optimal performance and user experience. We nee work when required to be performed so this wont be a fixed project more so on a hourly basis of work required to be completed. Seeking an experienced web developer/ program capable of handling the companies web site and database needs. The successful candidate should possess the following requirements: • Front end & Back end understanding of web development and correct functions for a responsive design to make sure it works properly continuously • Coding, website, and program knowledge in modern website functionality (Laravel, Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, CSS, HTML5, Javascript, Symfony, PHPDoctrine, WordPress etc.). • Bug resolutions by working with website hosting companies and managing their respective cPanel and data. • Resolve website issues in a timely fashion so that customers can navigate on it easily or reduce the time is ever down • Back up website data and files to ensure in the event of a crash we have all our data secure (Using codeguard, or manually backing up information etc) • Ensure that safety and security of the website is performing at an optimal speed (Sitelock etc) • Have a creative edge, to understand good marketing concepts and strategies to implement the improvement of the daily business operation • Design, develop, maintain website • Time management skills to prioritize tasks • Knowledgeable in social media and social media marketing • Able to work independently with little to no supervision while meeting deadlines and targets • Pays attention to detail Having a portfolio of past jobs and contracts performed would an asset
