Very quick project using Simple HTML Dom (attached). I already have some simple code in place to scan a website, retrieve images (from data-original) and upload them to my server as is. It works, but the problem is that those images are too large. I would like to resize and compress those images before they are uploaded to my server (200px on the longest side, 80% quality). Nothing fancy, no need for imagemagick. PHP native functions will work. Code must be able to run on php 5.6 and 7+.

Hi, I can create a code that will resize your images according to your need and it will also optimize the image to reduce filesize without loosing any quality. There is no need for external resources or any extension to install. It will be using GD which is available in about every host.
