Hmm!, When I read that last bit about not accepting the project, I swear I almost ran away. But I remembered, a similar use case I handled about a month back. My client had an e-commerce website he had purchased online and wanted to integrate it with a local payment gateway. It was scary at first but I handled it. In my case I had to design a third party API to act as a go between, receiving status of the payment through web hooks(from the payment gateway) and updating my client's database through the API. To my client, everything suddenly worked the way he wanted. I do not know the specifics of your issue but I am willing to bet, it goes along that line. With 6 years worth of experience in web technology, I am here to tell you to rest easy. If you hire me, the issue will be as good as solved. At least, I won't rest until it is.
