Hello, I am working with software called OpenSees. Python interpreter was newly added to OpenSees package and I would like use Python. I have quite complex scripts written in .tcl and need to translate them to Python3. As advised by OpenSees developers there is no automatic converter to do that. I feel a bit concern translating those scripts myself so would like to ask for some help. Please find .tcl scripts attached. Thanks, Anna

Hello. I'm an expert in both Tcl and Python, with several opensource projects in the former and worked for several commercial projects in the latter. The scripts don't look too complex but that's still about 800 lines of code that needs to be translated by hand. And there's always a possibility of issues that need to be debugged. On the other hand Tcl is also a fine language and it's still an option to learn it instead of translating the codebase to Python.
