Family Tree Project Information Project Summary: Redesign and redevelopment of a website for a large family. All content is in UTF-8. Content Management System The content management system shall include the following components: [login to view URL] n-level categories [login to view URL] Text Editor (RTE) component for all content editing [login to view URL] and archive search [login to view URL] users and permission levels [login to view URL] and auditing [login to view URL] and management of email accounts [login to view URL] list management Family Tree Management This component shall manage the generation and management of the family tree graph on the site. The system shall allow for the following: [login to view URL] nodes, and multiple levels and drag-and-drop of node management [login to view URL] ability to link nodes to popup text boxes or links to URLs [login to view URL] ability to generate graphs in the following formats: [login to view URL] image maps [login to view URL] format PDF for printing [login to view URL] front end of the system shall allow the user to \'drill down\' and zoom in to various nodes and sub-nodes of the tree. Maps Management This component will allow the end user to upload images of maps and be able to create hotspots on the map, which when clicked will zoom the map to the location of the hotspot and display details for the hotspot in a popup. The hotspots should be created online via the application and be previewed before being published on the site. Statistics The statistics component shall provide a visible counter on the front page of the site, along with visitor, popularity and hits statistics in the administration console.
