Customize search engine on Permiumpress website theme

We use the premiumpress directory theme and need the search function customised to improve search results for users and to also pull in information from other plugins used on the site. It may involve using another search plugin and customising that to pull information from the theme to display the best search results possible for the user. We also need the search bar adding to the top of the theme on each page of the site. More detail will be given in the project plan.
